The SMG3 website does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect PII from anyone under the age of 13. If SMG3 becomes aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, SMG3 will take steps to remove that information from our records.

If SMG3 needs to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your information and your country requires consent from a parent, SMG3 may require your parent’s consent before we collect and use that information.

SMG3 does not market to children under 13.

California Online Privacy Protection Act

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law’s reach stretches well beyond California to require a person or company in the United States (and conceivably the world) that operates websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this policy. According to CalOPPA we agree to the following:

  • Users can visit our site anonymously.
  • Once this Privacy Policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page or as a minimum on the first significant page after entering our website.
  • Our Privacy Policy link includes the word ‘Privacy’ and can easily be found on the page specified above.
  • Users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page.
  • Users are able to change their personal information by emailing us.
  • We honor “do not track signals” and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.
  • It’s also important to note that we do not allow third-party behavioral tracking.

CAN-SPAM Act

The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.

We collect your email address in order to:

  • Send information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.
  • Process orders and to send information and updates pertaining to orders.

  • Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.

  • Honor opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly.

SMG3 website may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

SMG3 may update its Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page, including the “Last updated” date at the bottom of this Privacy Policy.

Miscellaneous

This Privacy Policy shall be interpreted under the laws of the state of Illinois. If a claim or litigation is commenced by you against SMG3 for any reason you agree that the exclusive venue for resolution of that claim or litigation is in state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois to the exclusion of all other venues.
