The SMG3 Company Story

Strategic Mobility Group (SMG3) was founded as an innovative technology provider that designs, integrates, manages, and supports enterprise mobility solutions for warehouses, manufacturing companies, healthcare facilities, and more. SMG3 goes beyond simply selling hardware or software by allying with our customers throughout the development of the perfect solution to fit their needs, implementing that solution, and providing ongoing service and support once the solution is in place. This process allows SMG3 to provide a complete experience, utilizing our full suite of offered services.

January 2011

An Idea — SMG3

Strategic Mobility Group, LLC is founded by Nancy Gorski, Nico Genet, and Eric Holmes. Differentiating themselves from competition, SMG3 planned to offer clients exactly what was missing within the industry: an experience that provided Visibility Through Mobility™.

January 2012

Awards & Growth

SMG3 wins multiple awards for Sales and Customer Service Partner of the Year from both Zebra and Honeywell. The company ends the year with 100% growth and a team dedicated to providing clients with exceptional experiences.

April 2011

The Box

President & CEO Nancy Gorski purchases 100 white boxes “to stand out in a warehouse full of boring brown boxes.” The style, still used today as part of the SMG3 Experience, allows clients to easily see the difference between SMG3 and the competition.

January 2016

Year of Strategy Thinking

SMG3 challenged itself to think about ways to grow the business as a whole focusing on employees, the customer experience, and mobility solutions.
