Project Manager

Position Overview

This role is responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful execution, customer satisfaction, and alignment with business objectives. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams while driving timelines, managing risks, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, natural leader, and skilled problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple departments and customer organizations

Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously from kickoff through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Ensure proper documentation, project notes, and status reports are consistently updated.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address risks and issues.
  • Support project managers and leadership in preparing materials, reports, and presentations.
  • Identify risks or delays early and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure successful project closeout, and customer handoff.

Client Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients, leadership, and internal departments.
  • Lead client meetings, kickoff calls, status reviews, and project lessons learned discussions.
  • Build strong relationships through clear communication and proactive follow-up.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a central point of contact between Sales, Sales Success, Clients, Vend, Professional Services, and Operations.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services to ensure project requirements, timelines, and deliverables are aligned.
  • Facilitate smooth project handoffs between departments

Procurement & Supply Chain Support

  • Monitor procurement activities, material availability, and logistics schedules impacting project timelines.
  • Track order status, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, product availability, and logistics issues impacting project timelines.
  • Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies, delays, or issues related to materials or services

Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly project status reports for internal and external audiences.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project files, documentation, and procurement records.
  • Identify risks or delays early and escalate appropriately

Continuous Improvement

  • Assist in developing and improving project workflows, procurement processes, and communication standards.
  • Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Support implementation of project management best practices and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, supply chain, procurement, or operations.
  • Experience managing client-facing projects from initiation through completion.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Mission Control, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

Salary Range

$70,000 to $90,000
