Are you a strategic, innovative, and collaborative professional with a passion for driving customer-focused solutions? Strategic Mobility Group (SMG3) is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Marketing team.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and enhance the customer experience through innovative product offerings. Reporting to the CMO, you’ll partner across departments—Sales, Professional Services, Operations, and Executive Leadership—to launch and refine solutions that align with SMG3’s growth trajectory and values.
The ideal candidate is a sharp, forward-thinking leader with experience in product management specific to MSP solutions, a proven track record of overseeing the full product lifecycle, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. You will thrive in this role if you are detail-oriented, client-driven, and eager to make a positive impact in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities – Product Management & Strategy
- Develop, communicate, and implement the product roadmap.
- Create and refine go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
- Ensure all product initiatives reflect customer needs, market trends, and ROI considerations.
- Drive differentiation by analyzing competitor offerings and identifying market opportunities to capitalize on.
- Appraise and evaluate new product ideas, developing actionable strategies for launch.
Core Responsibilities – Analysis & Communication
- Gather and interpret customer insights to enhance offerings and customer experience.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop compelling value propositions that effectively position products.
- Support internal and external communications by delivering clear, aligned product messaging.
Core Responsibilities – Project Leadership & Team Collaboration
- Manage cross-departmental projects related to product introduction and improvements.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company vision and client needs.
- Foster collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Operations.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and complete progress reports to leadership.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying and executing process enhancements.
Required Experience
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably within MSP or enterprise mobility solutions.
- Proven success overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
- Strong background in delivering product marketing strategies and go-to-market plans.
- Exceptional writing, presentation, and public-speaking skills.
- Experience in industrial (manufacturing & warehousing) and healthcare (hospitals & medical facilities) markets preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, process discipline, and deadline orientation.
- Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities.
