Governance and Quality Specialist

Position Overview

The governance and quality specialist is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s governance and quality management programs while providing operational support for Salesforce and business analysis initiatives.

The role serves as the primary coordinator for process governance, quality system administration, process documentation, project follow-up, and operational support for business systems.

Responsibilities

Quality Management System Administration and Support (Approximately 75%)
•Assist in developing and maintaining the company QMS
•Maintain quality records and documentation repositories
•Coordinate document review and approval processes
•Support audit readiness activities
•Track corrective actions and improvement initiatives

Process Governance
•Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS)
•Conduct process discovery and validation sessions
•Interview process owners and stakeholders
•Create and maintain process maps
•Coordinate process review cycles
•Ensure documentation remains accurate and current
•Support policy and procedure lifecycle management
•Maintain process ownership records

Continuous Improvement
•Identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement
•Coordinate process standardization efforts
•Track process improvement initiatives
•Support governance maturity initiatives

Salesforce & Business Analysis Support (Approximately 25%)

Salesforce Coordination
•Manage Daily Demo Session documentation, recordings, and follow-up communications
•Create meeting notes and Chatter updates
•Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scheduling and walkthroughs
•Support enhancement request intake and clarification

Business Analysis Support
•Schedule business research and discovery meetings
•Conduct initial request intake and information gathering
•Follow up with requestors to clarify vague or incomplete requests
•Draft user stories and requirements documentation

Required Experience

•3-5 years of experience in process governance, quality systems, business operations, or project coordination
•Experience documenting business processes and SOPs
•Strong organizational follow-up skills
•Experience with Jira or similar project management platforms
•Experience supporting business analysis activities
•Excellent written and communication skills
•Ability to work independently across multiple departments
•Ability to effectively manage multiple workstreams, frequently shift between priorities, and quickly re-engage in ongoing tasks while maintaining accuracy, organization, and momentum
•Experience with Salesforce (as an end user) preferred

$83,000 to $100,000
